What We Do
Aqueo offers a comprehensive digital pre-screening solution for dry eye conditions. Our platform integrates:
Symptom Questionnaire: A short, structured dry-eye symptom assessment captured at the point of care
Blink Analysis: Objective metrics including blink interval, completeness, and quality indicators
Triage Support: Evidence-based recommendations to help clinics prioritize patient care
Workflow Integration: Seamless integration with clinic processes and patient management systems
Our tool is designed as decision-support only—it assists with triage and workflow but does not provide diagnosis or treatment recommendations.

Clinics face intake bottlenecks. Pre‑visit data reduces friction, enables consistent triage, and uses clinic time more effectively.
Our Approach
Aqueo is built on three core principles:

- Privacy by Design: Data minimization, pseudonymization, and Canadian data residency are built into our architecture from the ground up
- Clinic-Centric: We serve as your authorized agent, processing data only on your behalf and under your instructions
Privacy & Compliance
Privacy and data protection are fundamental to everything we do. Aqueo operates as an authorized agent under PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act) in Ontario and as a service provider under PIPEDA.
We process clinical screening data on behalf of clinics — including limited patient demographics provided by the clinic for accurate record matching. All data is stored in Canada (AWS ca-central-1) with encryption at rest and in transit. Each clinic maintains full control as the Health Information Custodian (HIC).
